spicy lentil and pasta stew

Ingredients
  • 600 g pasta (100g roughly per person)
  • 400 g brown lentils (1 tin)
  • 400 g chooped tinned tomatoes (1 tin)
  • 1 onion (large onion)
  • 1 pot smokey spanish stew
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 pinch smokey Mediterranean sea salt (It's pink in colour)
  • 2 pinch coarse black pepper
Instructions
  1. Dice the onion and slice the carrots and dry fry them for a few minutes in a frying pan
  2. When browning, add a little oil and meanwhile fill saucepan up with water half way to get ready for cooking the pasta
  3. Add the tin of tomatoes and the Smokey Spanish stew and add water as needed.
  4. put the pasta in the sauce pan of boiling water.
  5. When you have a nice stew type consistency and vegetables are soft, add the lentils, sea salt and pepper.
  6. Drain the water from the pasta and rinse the starch off the pasta with cold tap water. Next add the ingredients of the frying pan to the pasta and give it a stir and serve.
